Welcome to Barnegat Light and the
North Shore Inn. The North Shore Inn is family owned and operated by Al and
Christine Craig. It is ideally located at the northern end of Long Beach
Island, NJ and is one block from the beautiful and natural beach at
Barnegat Light. We are also a short stroll to the Barnegat Lighthouse known
affectionately as “Old Barney” and Barnegat Light State Park. If you are up
for the climb, the view from the top of the lighthouse is spectacular. The
rock jetty that extends along the inlet is idea for a scenic stroll. For
the fishing enthusiasts, there are nearby party boats, charter boats, boat
rentals, fishing along the inlet as well as surf fishing.
The inn has spacious rooms with
air conditioning/heat, secure and FREE wireless internet, cable TV and daily
maid service. All rooms have convenient outside access and are ALL
non-smoking.
Most people who come to the north
end of the island are looking to have a quiet, relaxing vacation at the
beach. We strive to accomplish this by asking our guests to be courteous to
other guests by observing our quiet hours between 10:00 on and 9:00 am. This ensures everyone’s stay is a pleasant experience.
